DIGITAL CONSTRUCTION USING AUTODESK SOFTWARE

As an ATC, we believe that we need to explore the software that we train up to a level that we can identify new capabilities, workflow or function that can improve the performance and usage efficiency of all our participants. Our model of never-ending learning requires that we do not stop discovering new things for our participants to enjoy. Currently, we are focusing more on how Revit and BIM can be used as a powerful marketing tool with existing tool sets, and we chose to experiment with Autodesk A360 and virtual reality. DRONE AERIAL INSPECTION FOR OIL & GAS INDUSTRIES

The drone developed by UT&M with the assistance of researchers from Duarre Tech, a company that specialized in UAV is equipped with advanced surveillance and navigation system and other academics. The drone has the capabilities to do aerial inspection especially in the flare stake.


HYBRID AIRSHIP VEHICLE (HAV) FOR LONG ENDURANCE SURVEILLANCE

HAV is the new breed between airship and aircraft that combines the lifting force from buoyancy and aerodynamics. The HAV has a capability to fly long endurance (min 5 days) and carry ultra heavy payload. The HAV is suitable for surveillance at the border of our country.

Currently, due to the recent development of the national treat that is the Dengue epidemic, we are interested in providing assistance in tackling this problem or to reduce it to the level that is manageable by using technology and innovative designs paired with the relevant know-how’s and the access to facilities with respective experts that we have within the university. Our initiatives include grant application for technology-related potential solutions and communicating with people within the industry with high potential alternatives to bringing this Dengue threat down.
